Computer skills, customer service, and teamwork are essential in the workplace. By successfully completing this certificate program, students gain proven technology skills required to be successful in the modern workplace world. You will learn effective use of the computer and operating system, file management and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook 2016. In addition, you will have the opportunity to enhance critical thinking and problem solving skills through teamwork building, simulations, and soft skills exercises. Some of the exercises include direct interaction with local business leaders, which will emphasize the skills necessary for getting, keeping and doing your job well. ProveIt tests measure your new abilities.

Prerequisite: Beginning Computer Fundamentals or equivalent skills and keyboarding skills of 35 WPM or co-enrollment in keyboarding class.
